Privacy / Draft for legal review

Privacy,
plainly.

This page is a working draft based only on the current website implementation. It must be reviewed and completed before being treated as legal advice or a final policy.

Review marker

Confirm the company registration number, registered office, privacy contact address, hosting arrangements and whether any analytics or other services will be added before publishing this policy as final.

01

Overview

Bake Code Ltd (“Bake Code”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for this website. This draft explains the limited data handling associated with the website as currently implemented.

The current site is a static informational website. It does not include user accounts, a contact form, a database or application-level tracking.

02

Information we collect

The website itself does not ask visitors to submit personal information. If you contact Bake Code by email once a contact address is configured, the information you choose to send will be used to read and respond to your enquiry.

[REVIEW REQUIRED] Confirm the lawful basis, email retention approach and any business record-keeping requirements before final publication.

03

Hosting and technical data

The site is configured for GitHub Pages. Like most hosting services, the hosting provider may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP addresses, browser details and request timestamps.

[REVIEW REQUIRED] Confirm the production hosting provider and link to the relevant provider privacy information after deployment settings are complete.

04

Cookies and analytics

No analytics, advertising scripts or application cookies are implemented in the current website code. Fonts are served from the website build rather than requested from a third-party font service.

If these features change, this policy and any consent mechanism should be reviewed before the change is released.

05

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights over personal information held about you, including rights to access, correct or erase it, restrict or object to processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

This is a general summary, not legal advice. The final policy should explain which rights apply to Bake Code’s confirmed processing activities.
